Step by Step guide to create ClickBank Affiliate Account

What is ClickBank?

ClickBank in simple words is the marketplace where you can sell physical or digital products, promote products as an affiliate or do market research.

In this blog post, I can share with you step by step process how to set up the ClickBank Affiliate Account.

• In order to create an account with ClickBank, you have to go to ClickBank.com. Click on create account to open an account with ClickBank.

• You have to provide all the details and then click the button – Join ClickBank!

• You can select any option but i can go with – No, i got this on my own.

• After that click on complete my profile.

• You have to complete your profile by providing your phone number, street address, etc. In the payee name field, I can fill Paypal. But Clickbank pays you either through check or by direct deposit by providing the bank details. Once your account is open, you can change it later in the account settings tab.
• After that click on the save tab button.

• Then click on create account.

• In the account type, you have to select from the drop-down menu Affiliate (Promote Products). In the Nickname field, you can provide any name which is working as your affiliate id. You can read full detail about the nickname provided on the right side of the image. After that click on create account.

• Now your account has been created. Click on your nickname and you can redirect to your affiliate dashboard.

• This is your ClickBank affiliate dashboard. On the top, you find marketplace. Click here to go to affiliate marketplace and find the category in which you are interested and start generating links for promotion.

• On the left side, select any category in which you are interested.

• I can select health and fitness. In this category i choose diets & weight loss.

• After selecting diets and weight loss, a number of products will appear. We select products on the basis of gravity just see in the below image. Select a product that has gravity more than 40.
• According to Clickbank’s definition,  gravity simply means a number of distinct affiliates who earned a commission by promoting the vendor’s products during the past 12 weeks.
• After selecting the product click on the promote button to generate hoplinks.

• Click on generate hoplinks, your affiliate link will created.

• Below is your affiliate link and start promoting to make money online.

• Don’t try to promote these links directly. Facebook, Twitter, etc. don’t allow these links and your account must also be banned. You cannot run Facebook ads, Google ads, etc directly on these links. The best way to promote these links either through your own website or through the squeeze page.
• In the case of the website you simply provide reviews about the product and then place your hoplink and when somebody clicks on that link and buys the product you get an affiliate commission. You can promote your website either on the social media platform or through Google or Facebook ads and generate sales.
• You can also build a squeeze page or landing page to promote affiliate products. In the beginning, if you don’t have a huge budget then go with Aweber Landing Page Builder or Get Response Landing Page Builder. If you use Aweber or Get Response you don’t need to pay extra for email marketing services. This is the biggest advantage you get if you start with their landing page builder. Once you achieve good results and start generating money then switch to click funnels and build high converting sales funnel.

• On the landing page you simply capture the email addresses of persons either through catchy headlines or offer some free value in exchange for emails to build your list.
• After that sending regular emails and start developing trust with your audience and when a relationship developed with the audience you can promote the products and make money online.
